Detroit Lake is located on the fringe of the Willamette National Forest where multiple options exist for exploring nature and the beauty that Oregon has to offer.  You pick the type of family trail you want to explore.

Breitenbush Hotsprings, 10 mile drive, has day passes available (recommend checking their website for details www.breitenbush.com). A place to relax and enjoy the nature of the forest with natural warm water distributed from the earth.

Winter Options

Hoodoo Ski and Snow Recreational Area is less than an hour (road conditions dependent) from our proeprty.  Perfect drive for Skiing, Snow Mobiling and/or Snow Shoeing.  Space available on our property for trailers that pull your snow mobiles or other snow vehicles.   McCoy Snow park is less than 15 minutes away.

Water Sports

Enjoy Swimming, Fishing, Boating, Jet Skiing, Sailing, Paddle Board, Kayaking or any other water activity you wish.  Our property is walking distance to the beautiful Detroit Lake and Upper
Santiam River.  Courtesy docks available at Detroit Marina (check availability) and plenty of room to park your water sport trailer at our property.
